Pongwe beach is located next to Uroa beach, these two beaches look very similar and their village’s occupations are the same.

Prison Island

The prison was built in 1893 and was intended to be a house for violent prisoners and sick people but now is used as a hotel and one of the best tourist destinations in Zanzibar.
