It consists of a massive but shallow soda lake covering two-thirds of the total area of the park at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s escarpment.

The ecosystem of the park and its habitat attract a wide variety of wildlife to make their home in this scenic park just to mention a few including African elephant herds, a large population of baboons, and tree-climbing lions. The presence of algae attracts flocks of flamingos and other migratory birds to reside within an area.

During the game drive, you may see other wildlife such as Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Buffalos, and Hippos. Lake Manyara National Park has a well-designated picnic site where you will enjoy your picnic lunch in the bush. After the game drive your guide will drive back to a lodge for relaxation or further arrangements.
