Excellent memories begin with meticulous planning. This 10-day Safari package was designed to allow you to visit wonderful places such as Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Lake Manyara National Park.
The program involves a visit to the popular northern circuit destinations plus Zanzibar Island. After spending some nights of Tanzania wildlife exploration in the Northern circuit, you will fly to Zanzibar for excursions, where you will relax on the most stunning beaches, go swimming with turtles, learn about Zanzibar culture, and go snorkeling in the famous places on the island.
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Shiloh Safari guide will pick you up and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha town for dinner and overnight. Along the way, you will have the chance to see the beautiful views of the Tanzania ecosystem. After arriving at your reputable accommodation, enjoy the Tanzanian atmosphere and have enough time to relax, ready for your ultimate Safari in a few hours to come.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Your perfect Safari program begins with a delicious breakfast in the hotel, followed by a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. This lovely park provides a spectacular environment for memorable and exceptional tours. Enormous herds of elephants are a remarkable feature of the park. The grassland, swamps, majestic baobab trees, and floodplains found inside the park are home to big cat animals such as cheetahs, lions, and elusive leopards.
The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and the predators who prey upon them.The Maasai grassland and the awesome mountain views in the southern part of the park make Tarangire the best destination for a visit. Before embarking on the afternoon game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in a specially designated area.After a great experience, the guide will drive you to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park (Game Drive and Nature Walk)
Today is truly a chosen day!After an early breakfast, you will set off for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with your packed lunch boxes.The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a large population of baboons, incredible birdlife, and the Alkalinity Lake with thousands of flamingos. While on a game drive you might see animals such as herds of Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebra, and Buffaloes, if you are lucky you may spot tree-climbing lions.
After an incredible wildlife viewing opportunity, enjoy your picnic lunch near the lake’s shore while listening to the appealing sounds of flamingos and other birdlife. After the memorable game drive, you will set off flora nature walk in the park accompanied by an experienced ranger guide. After all-day activities, your guide will drive you to a lodge in karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
A great day starts with incredible moments! After a delicious breakfast, we set out for a drive from Karatu Town, a vibrant and active town, to the Ngorongoro Highlands’ entrance. Enjoy exceptional game when arriving at Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous places to see the big five animals, which include rare remaining black rhinos, elusive leopards, lions, buffaloes, and elephants.
The crater floor consists of different habitats including grassland, swamps, forests, and Lake Magadi. All these environmental variations attract the majority of wildlife to enjoy the nature and graze within the area. We will stop for lunch and some relaxation in the mid-afternoon before continuing with your game drive.
The crater has a population of other wildlife including wildebeest, hippos, cheetahs, and warthogs as well as various bird species just to mention a few including pink Flamingos that are likely to be found in Lake Magadi one of the important features of the crater. The awesome Ngorongoro crater looks so beautiful with its natural beauty and is chosen as a part of the natural wonders of Africa. After the exploration of the crater, your safari guide will drive you to Serengeti national park for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti has much to offer, and your visit will be memorable. After a delicious breakfast, it is yet another stunning day to start your Safari with a game drive. Serengeti National Park is the home of the great presentation of wildlife, it is also referred to as the great wildlife reserve in Africa. The park host number of wild animals including the wildebeest, Zebra, as well as the population of resident animals like Lion, cheetah, giraffes, and elephants. The bird life is also excellent as compared to other destinations.
The Serengeti has many beautiful picnic areas where you can enjoy your picnic lunch before going on an afternoon game drive. If you want to spot the Big Five animals Serengeti is the best place to be. Depending on the time you visit the park, you can also see the Great Migration of the wildebeest.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Spending the night in Serengeti National Park is one of the fantastic experiences that will enhance your safari itinerary. The attractive sounds of wild animals and birds will make your night so great and will give you a real sense of the African Bush. After breakfast, you begin the day with the morning game drive in the Central area of Serengeti known as Seronera. Explore the beautiful scenery of endless plains and enjoy the best guiding techniques from your Shilo professional safari guide.
Well-established picnic sites will give you a friendly and welcoming environment to enjoy your bush lunch in the afternoon before proceeding further with the game drive. Despite the big five, wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras Serengeti also hosts other animal and bird species just to mention a few including cheetah, jackal, hyena, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, ostrich, martial eagle, and vultures.
After a full day of a game drive, your guide will drive you back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Serengeti to Zanzibar Island
What a fabulous day!We provide you with wonderful memories and breathtaking destinations. Travel through and explore Serengeti in the morning after breakfast as you continue with your tour to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. After arriving you will be received by a Shilo guide who is familiar with Zanzibar destinations and several excursions.
The guide will transfer you to your lodging for a hot delicious lunch.After Lunch, you have ample time to relax around your reputable accommodation and probably relish your stay with the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. It will be a day of distressing after all the adventure you had in the African bush environment. In the evening you may walk around and get some feel of real Swahili culture before getting back for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Zanzibar Water Activities
What a lovely day! This wonderful day begins with a palatable breakfast followed by a visit to the most impressive beaches for water activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kite surfing, and windsurfing. We can start by swimming and enjoying the sight of marine creatures like octopus, zebrafish, barracuda, and turtles. Enjoy the taste of Swahili local dishes while having lunch near the shore of the most beautiful beach.
After enjoying the beach excursions, we can also experience Zanzibar culture where you will meet the local people, experience the joy of cart riding and also see how local people do their daily activities. After all the excursions you will drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Zanzibar Cultural Exploration
Did you know that Zanzibar Island has the best cultural exploration tours? Today, you will receive all of your answers.
After having a mouth-watering breakfast, your guide will pick you up and start a tour across the stone town “seats of Sultans”. This historical town is a UNESCO world heritage site rich in the history and culture of Zanzibar. During the tour, you may have the chance to visit various historical places, including the Anglican Cathedral church, which is an example of an early Christian structure in East Africa; the House of Wonders, the home to the Museum of History and Culture(the tallest building in Stone Town), a visit to an old slave market, bazaar streets, Forodhani garden; as well as a visit to spice and fruit markets. In the afternoon, enjoy your lunch on this iconic tourist destination, “Zanzibar Island,” before continuing to other excursions. You will also explore Prison Island, which has beautiful beaches, clean water, and giant land tortoises.
After a day full of activities and memories, the Shilo guide will take you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Departure

Enjoy your breakfast, then take your time relaxing and exploring the wonderful views of this beautiful island, as today is the day to say goodbye to the entire team and service providers.
